Insta-Thursday: A Wedding Weekend + An Alien!

 

 Happy Thursday, folks! We're almost to another weekend! Speaking of, last weekend we had a great time celebrating our friends' wedding and hanging out with my awesome brother! :)

Most of today's Instagram photos are from the weekend, with one Moxie pic from this week thrown in for good measure. You can never have two many kitty photos, am I right? :)

Insta-Thursday: Jadeite, Antique Shops, and Florida

Hey guys! I swear I say it every time I write a post, but I have been sick again! This time, it was my right ear that I had an infection in a couple weeks ago, which I guess never got better. I woke up Monday morning with my ear throbbing in pain. Yuck. I have managed to work most of the week, but I really don't recommend having people talk to you in a headset all day when you have a bad ear infection. Ouch!

But only a couple more days until the weekend, and I'm finally on the road to recovery. Hopefully, this time for good. No more sickness for me, even if it means living in a giant bubble free from germs! I'm that over feeling bad.

But yeah, above are some Instagrams taken in between sicknesses. The swirl Jadeite bowl in the third photo I had to pass up because it was priced at $50! Crazy, right? I posted it on Instagram, and someone commented on it that they had just found the same bowl for $9! I need some of that Jadeite luck!

Well, I hope everyone is having a better month than I am! Save for a few good days, I've been sick and miserable all of March. Here's to ending the month on a good note, and for April to be lots better!

Insta-Thursday: Rhinestones and Kitties and Bears, Oh My!

 Happy Thursday, folks! We made it this far through our week, so high fives all around! (Can you tell that it's been a rough couple of weeks for me? ;))

Anyway, here are some of my Instagram photos from the last two weeks, including a very fierce-looking bearskin rug we saw at Oldsmar Flea Market a couple weekends ago!

I had to take a picture of the pelican lamps, spotted at the Red Barn Flea Market, for my Grammy, who's a big pelican fan!
The awesome Ray Bans in the first photo I scored for $40 at Dillard's a couple weeks ago, and they have rarely left my face!

And the rhinestone-studded T belt buckle? Well, I passed that up at the motorcycle gear booth at Oldsmar. But it was pretty sweet!

Insta-Thursday: Life Lately :)

 Well, hey everyone! So I kind of disappeared again for a bit... But I'm back from my hiatus again. :)

I've been working, hanging out with my kitty and Jake the dog, reading up on the best flea markets (thanks to Grammy!), browsing through my fave magazine, walking a bunch (over 6 miles last Saturday!), and just enjoying life in Florida with my hubby, parents, and friends. :)

I hope everyone is doing well! Any great finds these past couple weeks??

Insta-Thursday: Flea Market Edition!

Hey guys! I hope everyone's week is going well! :) I haven't been very Instagrammy this week, but I did take a bunch of photos at Big Top Flea Market last weekend.

While I think the Oldsmar Flea Market that I talked about last week is my favorite in the Tampa area, Big Top didn't completely disappoint. I mean, we saw an awesome vintage wooden chair, a Bass hat, a Power Ranger!, old Bucs stuff, and animal hats. :) Thinking back, I probably should have bought the Bass hat! (It's my maiden name!)

Have you guys found or spotted anything good lately? I've found that, here in Florida, the flea markets tend to be better than the thrifts! We're going back to the Oldsmar Flea this weekend, because they have a booth with lots of Jadeite!

Insta-Thursday!

 Hey y'all! So, I started a new job kind of unexpectedly on Monday, so this week's been a whirlwind!
I'm working on coming up with a new blog schedule, which will definitely include Insta-Thursday, a couple outfit posts a week, #thriftspotting posts, and some thrift finds posts. Really the only difference is that I won't be posting daily anymore.

But don't fret! I will definitely still be here. :) I still love blogging, and I hope you still enjoy checking out my posts. :)

As for this week's photos, they include the awesome letterpress letters I spotted at an antique shop last weekend, a date with my hubby at Skateland, a long walk around the local man-made lake, and early morning commutes. :)

 Hey y'all! It's Insta-Thursday! This week has been full of: hanging out with my kitty, taking down the Christmas decorations, watching my alma mater UCF win their bowl game (!), reading my favorite magazine, heading over bridges to check out new-to-us thrift stores, trying new foods, and enjoying awesome macaroons!

Insta-Thursday: A Florida Christmas :)

 We had such a great Christmas! It's so nice to be here in Florida, close to family. :) My brother Andrew was able to come down from Texas, too, which was awesome! He got me a mustard yellow Cambridge Satchel, which has barely left my side since Christmas day. :)

It was also great having my aunt, uncle, and baby cousin here from Orlando! They are so fun, and having a little baby around on Christmas was really sweet. :)

My Grammy and Grandpa also came down from Pensacola, and it was great spending time with them, too! I love the picture of me and Grammy above, and I got a great picture of Grandpa and Andrew, but I forgot to Instagram it!

I hope everyone had as wonderful of a Christmas as I did. :) I feel so blessed!
