Outfitted In: Checks + Mickey

Shirt, Jeans: Thrifted; Bag, Boots: TJMaxx; Jacket: Burlington

This was Sunday's outfit, for a day of hanging out with my hubby, checking out an estate sale, and doing some grocery shopping.

I was super warm and comfy in my fleece jacket and leather boots, and the Mickey Mouse shirt gave my outfit just the right amount of quirkiness. :)

Thrift Finds: Go Go, Power Rangers!

90s Power Ranger Sheets: Goodwill ($1)

Since I didn't find anything else last weekend, I thought I'd dig up one of my local Goodwill finds from a couple weeks ago... Power Rangers sheets!!!

I was totally the pink ranger when I was a kid, and my little brother was the red ranger. Not just for Halloween- we'd play Power Rangers all the time. :)

Soft old sheets with things from my childhood are just too great to pass up. Especially for a buck!

Thrift Finds: Docs

Doc Martins: Goodwill Outlet ($3)

I've thrifted Doc Martins before (usually at Goodwill Outlet), but these are just perfect! They are more lightweight than my other ones, and they're comfy for work. :)

Other than these, I didn't find anything else on Saturday's short thrift trip. It's okay, though, because we'll be hitting up some thrift stores in Williamsburg next week! Hopefully, there will be some fun things there. :)

Outfitted In: Red + Gold

Shirt, Jeans, Mocs, Necklace: All Thrifted; Sweater: JCrew Warehouse Sale; Bag: TJMaxx

Yesterday was my first day out of the apartment after two days of being cooped up, resting. I wasn't out for long, though. Just enough for a quick thrift store run, in which I was mostly unsuccessful. But it was great to get a bit of fresh air!

This is the red striped shirt that is just like the blue one I wore the other week. I think I might like the red better...but that might just be because it matches my favorite bag!

I hope you're having a great weekend. :) I'm chilling out and making sure I'm totally better for this coming week, which is sure to be busy for me. Then, it'll be time to see my family!! I'm super excited, so I'm sure this week will go by fast. :)

Detail Shot Saturday: Pink + Hearts

Ahhhh. That is my sigh of relief at finally- really- feeling better! I really needed to take it easy and get some antibiotics, because they have made all the difference. :)

I'll still be pretty low-key this weekend, as I pack for an upcoming mini-trip to Williamsburg with my family and clean our apartment. I might go to a thrift store if I'm feeling up to it, but then it'll be right back to resting. I have to be better for seeing my family! I can't wait!

I found these salt and pepper shakers a couple weeks ago in the Goodwill bins, and I thought they were pretty cool. Vintage Japan things are usually just the right amount of quirky and neat. :)

This week was filled with: Fall leaves everywhere, Halloween decor, blasts from the past at Goodwill, hanging out with the kitty, seagulls, and googly eyes.

For someone who didn't even dress up this year, I think I had a pretty Halloween-y week!
