Vintage Elbow Patches: Good Samaritan ($1.49)

It was weird...I was thinking before I hit the thrifts Saturday morning, 'Hmmm, I could use some elbow patches to put on some of my cardigans.' And then...Boom! Awesome vintage leather elbow patches for less than a value meal at a fast-food place. :)

Pretty sweet! Don't you just love when you have something on your thrift list, and it ends up being super easy to find? 'Cause I also have items on mine that sit on the list for years before I finally find them. Although, I guess that makes it even better when you do!

Outfitted In: Cupcakes and Pandas!

This was Sunday's outfit for a day of movie-watching and birthday-celebrating! For my mother-in-law's birthday, Josh and I got a pinata and filled it with cute little things. :) Then we all go turns hitting it with a plastic bat! It was seriously fun. :)

Also, I can't get enough of my Amanda panda sweater. It is just so awesome! Now, to find a cat one...

Thrift Finds: Reinvent Heart

Panic! at the Disco Bag: Family Thrift ($1)

Does anyone else remember Panic! at the Disco? They were popular when I was in college, and my friend and I listened to them in her car. :)

Anyway, that's what the other side of this bag says. I'm not sure if it was originally from one of their shows, or it someone made it, but I love it! I'm a huge fan of just about anything with a heart on it, and of totes. :)

Thrift Finds: A Cute Little Mug :)

Mug: Good Samaritan ($0.50)

I've been seeing new, plastic versions of these 'non-tip' mugs at Target lately, but this pretty ceramic version just had to come home with me! Bonus? It was a whopping 50 cents!

I used to not be a coffee drinker (like, at all), but our new Keurig is making me a convert! Discovering coffee isn't so bad? Pretty cool. Finally having a use for adorable, thrifted mugs? Priceless.

Outfitted In: Studs + Dots

Bag, Shoes: Thrifted; Jeans: Thrifted DIY; Sweater: Gift from MIL

Pardon my squint-y gaze in this outfit shot- I probably should have thrown on my sunnies! Yesterday's sunshine made it perfect thrifting weather, though, and I think it gave me good luck. :) I had a few pretty good finds, which is always a plus!

So, pairing this studded sweater with my DIY polka dot jeans was my attempt to NOT do double dots... but, in the sun the studs looked like dots! Whoops. Maybe next time I sport these jeans I'll be more successful. Any ideas?

Oh, and happy Sunday, everyone! We're going to my in-laws' house to celebrate Josh's mom's birthday. :) We even bought a pinata!!!

So, yeah. This is my awesome panda shirt! There are sweet little pandas chillin' all over it! It kind of asks for the nickname 'Amanda Panda'. :)

Thankfully, that's not a nickname I'd mind one bit!
