Vintage Sunglasses Case: Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

I enjoy colorful things (if you couldn't tell from this blog!), and I love sunglasses. :) So finding a vintage brightly colored sunglasses case for mere pennies was great!

I admit to not usually using cases for my thrifted/cheap sunnies, which I know isn't very smart. Inevitably, scratches will appear and I won't be able to wear them anymore. From now on, even if they are dollar sunglasses, they are going into the case!

With a case this cute, I think I'll remember to use one. :)

Thrift Find: Vintage Cat Eye Sunnies

Vintage Cat Eye Sunglasses: Family Thrift ($2)

When I spotted these cool sunnies in the boutique section of Family Thrift, I knew I had to get them! They remind me of the much more expensive Super sunglasses. :)

I don't usually go to Family Thrift because it's always packed, but I really scored this time! Three of the best things I thrifted this week came from there, all for great prices. :)

A Checkered Past

Checkered Sunglasses, Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

...And let the red and white madness continue!!! Lol. Another find in Saturday's outfit colors was this checkered pair of sunnies, made in Taiwan. When I saw them in the bottom of the G.O. bin, I couldn't believe the vintage coolness of them!

They totally remind me of my hubby's ska music-obsessed days. (And I couldn't resist the post title...I mean, who knows? When you buy things at Goodwill Outlet, they very well might've had a checkered past. Hence the super-sanitizing that goes on after purchasing things!)
