Vintage Pyrex Mixing Bowl: Family Thrift ($2)

One of the things on my thrift list this week was a Pyrex bowl. We've been making a lot salads lately, and a cute bowl makes them that much better! This is the perfect size for a two-person salad. :)

It is a little scratched, but hey...two bucks for vintage Pyrex- I'll take it!

I spotted this crazy cat heads bag at Family Thrift this weekend, and I had to grab it! It was just a buck for all this awesomeness!!!

That's about all I can muster today, as I've been in a Benadryl allergy haze the past couple days. And it's Monday. Yuck! Here's to my vacation week getting close!!

Outfitted In: Red + Pink

This was yesterday's thrifting outfit, for a bright, sunny day. :) I sported my new Rugged Wearhouse sunnies ($3!!!) and sandals, which I accidently cut off in the picture! Whoops.

I had a pretty successful day of thrifting, with some of the things crossed off of my thrift list. :) I also found a really great Anthropologie clutch and a cat print bag!

Well, I'm off to enjoy the rest of my weekend. :) I hope yours is great, too!

Frame, Dollhouse stuff, Chalk and Eraser: Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

In addition to the Minnetonka mocs I found last weekend, I also scored the frame I was looking for, some fun things for my dollhouse, and chalk and an eraser for my kitty chalkboard. :)

(I'm aware that fake photo in the frame is upside down! It wasn't in there long. :))

Guess what I found in the Goodwill Outlet bins on Saturday?! The black Minnetonka mocs I've been searching for FOREVER! :) In my size! I was so happy to find these awesome, comfy Minnetonkas for three bucks.

Now, to find some in the same style as my tan ones. ;)

Thrift Finds: A Bright Pink JCrew Bag! :)

JCrew Bag: Family Thrift ($5)

I was pretty excited to find this very spring-appropriate purse. :) And it's JCrew, so it's really nice! I love the separate compartments and the fun color. It's the perfect spring and summer bag!

Other things I thrifted this weekend? Nearly everything from my thrift list, although sadly not the bar cat that I've been searching for forever. Maybe next weekend!

Man, was it a pretty day yesterday! I love when it's cool and breezy and sunny. :) And I had great luck thrifting! I found almost everything I was searching for!!

As for the outfit...this is definitely my new favorite shirt. :) I got it a Goodwill the other night, and I just love the stripes! With my thrifted red necklace and kitty shoes, it was apparently my good-luck thrifting outfit. :)

Thrift Finds: From My Thrift List :)

Dollhouse stuff, Picture frame, Wicker plate: All Goodwill Outlet (<$1 total)

Here's what I found from my thrift list this week. :) I've been looking for the wicker plates to use as a cover for my wicker wastebasket by my desk, and it works perfectly! No more kitty playing with balled-up paper!

Of course, I had to get the tiny lawn gnome for my dollhouse. :) I've said it a billion times, but it is just so much fun to thrift little things to decorate my dollhouse with!

Outfitted In: Mustard and Unicorns

This was Sunday's outfit, for an awesome early birthday party! I had such a fun time with my in-laws, eating fondue and cake pops and busting open my pretty unicorn pinata! They even had helium balloons, making it feel like a genuine birthday party. :)

As for the outfit- you can probably tell I'm already obsessed with my newest mustard thrift find! I'd been searching for a short-sleeve mustard cardigan, and this one is just perfect. :)

Retail/Thrifted: Virginia Metalcrafters Brass Leaf Dish

Virginia Metalcrafters Angel Wing Begonia Brass Dish: Goodwill Outlet ($1)

I was super excited to find another of these awesome brass leaf dishes, especially because it was in the Goodwill bins! Despite being a little heavy, it only came out to about a dollar. :) (Most everything at Goodwill Outlet is pay-by-the-pound.) It is perfect for holding my hair accessories at my vanity in the bathroom!

Thrift Finds: Planes!

Planes Poster Board: Love of Jesus ($5)

So this thick poster board with planes on it was a little thrift-store steep (five bucks), but I had to get it for Josh! He loves planes, and I love the colors on this poster. Win-win!

It looks awesome in his 'man corner' next to his desk, which also features Mustang artwork and framed comic books. :)

Also, I'm not sure what direction the planes are really flying in, but they looked best pointed up!

Yesterday after work, I was SO ready to hit the thrifts! It was such a pretty day that I got to sport my favorite thrifted fringe sandals, too. :) Oh, and please ignore my crazy hair- I had just taken it down from a top knot, and it was blowing all over the place!

Anyway, I scored some fun things, including some of the things on this week's list. And I found something cool for Josh, too!

What's in my bag? :)

I thought it would be fun doing a what's in my bag post, since I haven't done one in years. :) The weirdest thing? The Publix hand sanitizer, because we don't have Publix grocery stores here in Richmond. We do have them back home in Florida, though, and my awesome mom and Grammy keep me stocked up. :) For some reason, I just like the Publix version best!

So, another thing I found from my thrift list this week was dollhouse stuff. :) Just look at those tiny little things!

I'm using the 'chick feed' as a pillow, the stacked round boxes are a nightstand, and the baskets are decor. :) I especially love the teeny Pepsi can!

So, I didn't find much Saturday, but I did cross a couple things off of my thrift list. One? 'Interesting wall art.' Because if a cat-shaped chalkboard doesn't count as 'interesting', then I don't know what does! :)

Anyway, here's the little guy in action by our front door:

I totally got some pink chalk and have had fun writing different things on it. I think it'll be handy for reminders as we head out the door. And also to just write silly stuff and see if the hubby notices...
