Thrift Finds: Polaroids and Pipe Dreams

Vintage Polaroid Camera; Vintage Pipe Holder; Both: Goodwill Outlet (~$1)
It's been a long time since I've thrifted a Polaroid camera, but this yellow one was so bright and cheery I couldn't resist! Now, if I could only thrift some 600 film for it. Seeing as they go for about $30 a pack on eBay, I think I'm out of luck on that front!

The wooden pipe holder was given to the hubby. :) He has a vintage tobacco pipe collection, and this holder/tray was a great find for less than a buck. (I think the other Goodwill Outlet patrons didn't know what it was, which is how I was able to snag it!)

    Hello Amanda,
    My brother collects old cameras; some of the old Polaroids are worth some money. Hey, growing up my Dad had a pipe holder just like that one you picked up. I can see it now sitting next to his lazy-boy chair in the living room; brings back a flood to memories. Thanks for sharing.

    I have a polaroid camera but not as cool as that one. I was so mad when they stopped making the film. I have about 6 photos left on my camera but I don't want to waste them! When I go to America in a couple of months I'm going to get an instax 210 to replace my polaroid!
