I snatched up this awesome straw visor at Good Samaritan this weekend! It's perfect for the upcoming hot summer days. :)

It won't be of much use on our trip to Ireland, though! It is supposed to be in the 50s and rainy the first half of the week. But I'm prepared! I'll be sharing some of the things I've packed next week, in a series of fun scheduled posts. :)

Thrift Finds: A Pretty, Painted Flower :)

I love finding hand-painted art at Goodwill. :) I have a blonde-haired woman with a pink headband signed Jose Gomez, an unsigned old-school painting of Wolverine, and an also un-named painted ship on a black background. And now, this pretty floral art by 'Tricia' in 2010. :)

Here's to hoping this pretty flower brightens your Monday as much is does mine!

Insta-Friday

It's been a crazy week, and I totally forgot Insta-Thursday yesterday! Whoops. I think I am in need of a vacation! Luckily, I have one coming up in less than 10 days. :)

Speaking of which, this week was full of: kitty cuddling, good food, Rugged Wearhouse finds, piñata taxidermy, fishtail braids, thrift finds, unicorn spotting, and packing!

Thrift Finds: An Anthropologie Clutch :)

I was super-excited to score this cute tomato-red clutch from Anthropologie for just 50 cents! What a deal. :)

It's the perfect size to use as a makeup bag, which is exactly how I'm using it!

Well folks, I'm off to work. But it's almost the weekend, and I'm hanging out with my cousin tonight, so that's cool. :)

This was Sunday's outfit, for a day of sneezing, reading and BBQ. My allergies were crazy, likely due to the crazy pollen everywhere! Oh, Richmond.

Josh actually caught me mid-sneeze in one of these outfit pictures he rapidly takes as we walk out the door to the apartment. (I look like a very sad alien in it, which is weird. I wonder if I always look that way when I sneeze? I would show you, but it was promptly deleted.)
