Meet my newly thrifted mustard cardigan. It is super-soft! And it was two bucks!

Also: my newly thrifted Bass loafers. :) They are comfy and nice and I'm pretty much in love with them.

Anyway, so this was yesterday's thrifting outfit. I was in Family Thrift and a girl came up to me and said she really liked my outfit, which was awesome! I really like mustard and navy blue and red together. :)

Well, I'm off for a day of hanging with the hubby! Have a good one!

Insta-Thursday #17

This was actually a pretty packed week! It was filled with: listening to Piano Man on my Fisher Price record player, watching ebayed BSC videos, picking through Goodwill Outlet (where I did some unicorn spotting), thrifting some awesome things for cheap, finding the best-ever boots, checking out mushroom-themed kitchen decor, re-discovering old pictures of the hubby and I, having a stare-down contest with Josh's parent's cat Ace, making homemade applesauce all by myself, and chilling out with Moxie. :) Whew! You can fit a lot into a week when you have a long weekend!

Outfitted In: Black and Red Leather

Jacket, Jeans, Necklace: Thrifted; Boots, Bag: TJMaxx; Sweater: Target

This is my newly thrifted leather jacket I scored at my local Goodwill for about ten bucks! The boots and bag were slightly pricier, but still super awesome! (Of course, you've seen this bag about a zillion times by now. It's definitely my favorite!)

If you're wondering about the change of background, we actually took this outside of TJ's right after I got these boots. I'd been thinking about them for days, and I had to go back to get them. They are super-nice leather and so comfortable! And they were on sale, so they ended up being about half the original price. :) I love a good deal.

Thrift Finds: Cold-Weather Mocs

Mocs: Family Thrift ($0.99)

I found these super-warm, comfy mocs at Family Thrift for under a buck. :)  I have a feeling that these, my Minnetonkas, and my new TJMaxx leather boots will be worn continuously this Fall and Winter!

This current cooler weather is just perfect. :) I love sweaters and boots and moccasins!!!

Thrift Finds: Goodwill Outlet Goodies :)

Books/VHS: Goodwill Outlet ($1.50 for all)

I came near the end of the stuff at Goodwill Outlet on Saturday, and my basket was still empty. There were just not many good things in the bins, I guess.

Luckily, I looked through the book and tape bins before leaving, because I ended up with a couple gems. :)

#1: One of the BSC books that was still on my list to find!

#2: The Nightmare Before Christmas on VHS...awesome.

#3: An old Judy Garland-themed fiction book with a neat cover. It seems like a Nancy Drew sort of book, but Judy Garland is the main character!
