Happy Thursday, everyone! This week was full of: kitty finds, antique shop browsing, passport renewing, heart sunnies and pins, Keurig coffee breaks, dark skies, and using the cute bowls from Grammy for Super Bowl snacks. :)

This was Sunday's outfit, for a day of antique shopping, movie watching, froyo eating, and fun with my hubby. :) I love my new heart bag SO much, and I'm of course still sporting my 'G' pendant! These newly thrifted jeans are being added to my fave list, too. :)

Thrift Finds: Purple. Velvet. Flats. + Minnetonkas!

Awesome Purple Flats; Comfy Minnetonkas: Goodwill Outlet ($3 each pair)

So these are the awesome shoes I scored at Goodwill Outlet Saturday! How awesome are these velvet purple flats!!?? Very out there, but I really love them!

And I can never pass up a nice pair of Minnetonkas in my size at the thrifts, so these brown ones came home with me for three bucks. :) I just need a black pair, and I'll be set!

Well, I hope everyone's week is going well so far. I'm getting off early today, so I plan on going to the post office to mail out my passport renewal and my dad's (a little late) birthday present. :)

Thrift Finds: A Sweet Brass Unicorn!

Brass Unicorn: Family Thrift ($4)

This solid brass, heavy unicorn is pretty awesome! When I was carrying it around Family Thrift while I looked at the rest of the store, a little boy came up to me and asked me about it. He was like, 'Miss, is that a horse or a unicorn? Because I thought it was a horse, but a unicorn is much awesomer.' I told him it was a unicorn, and he smiled really big before running off to his dad. :)

Oh, thrift adventures. You never know what's going to happen! Come to think of it, a lady stopped me on my way out of FT and asked about my cat shoes, too. She was totally enthused about them, and she wondered if they had any dog ones. I told her I got mine on eBay, and that I wasn't sure about the dog shoes. She really, really thought the kitty ones were cool. (Well, I agree!)

Anyway, this unicorn is like the parent to my other, smaller brass unicorn I thrifted in Williamsburg. :) They are super cute together!

Well, it didn't snow yesterday, but it was FREEZING! Hence my OMG it's COLD expression in this photo... Whoops. Just ignore that and bask in the awesomeness that is my newly thrifted star sweater and my new leather heart bag from etsy. :)

I had pretty decent luck at the thrifts, too. So, despite the frigid weather, it was a pretty good day!

Now, I'm off to enjoy a full day of hanging out with my hubby- a first since this semester started. :) Yay!

So, I am in love with these kitty shoes I scored on eBay! They are comfy and adorable- I've had a hard time reaching for any other shoes!

Well, I'm off to the thrifts this morning, barring any crazy snow (which might be in the forecast...again...ugh). I am really in need of a good thrift day, you know what I mean?

Thrift Finds: Knitted Hat of Coolness

Awesome handmade hat: Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

I am super stoked about this cute handmade hat I found at Goodwill Outlet last weekend! It is long and slouchy and cute. :)

I might have to sport it this weekend, as the weather is supposed to be pretty chilly. We've had some weird ups and downs lately, with snow one day and 75 degree sun the next!
